Disclosures

Plain-English answers to the questions that actually matter: what we are, what our numbers mean, how revenue-based funding is priced, and how we handle your information.
1. Fundangle is a broker, not a lender
Fundangle is an independent commercial-finance brokerage. We do not lend, underwrite, fund, or service financing ourselves. We take your application to third-party lenders in our network, help you compare what comes back, and get paid by the lender when a deal closes. That compensation is disclosed and never charged to you as an upfront fee.
Because we're a broker and not the lender, we can't approve you, set your rate, or promise a timeline. Only the funding lender can, after its own review.
2. Our estimates are estimates — not offers
Any number you see on this site before a lender issues you a signed offer — a ballpark, a range, a "here's what businesses like yours often see" — is illustrative only. It is not an offer, a commitment to fund, an approval, or a guarantee of any amount, rate, or term.
3. Revenue-based funding is not a loan
A lot of the financing we help arrange is revenue-based funding (sometimes called a merchant cash advance). It's important to understand what that is:
- It is a purchase of a portion of your business's future revenue at a discount — not a loan. It doesn't have an interest rate in the way a bank loan does.
- You receive an amount up front and pay back a larger fixed amount over time, as a share of or fixed remittance against your revenue.
- We always show you the cost as plain dollars first: what you receive, and what you pay back in total.
- If we or a lender ever show you an APR on a revenue-based product, it is an estimated APR shown for comparison only. Revenue-based funding has no stated interest rate; an APR is just an annualized way to compare cost against other products. It is not a finance charge.
Revenue-based funding is fast and flexible, and it costs more than bank-grade financing. When a cheaper product fits your situation, we'll tell you — even when it's not the fast option.
4. State financing disclosures
Several states require standardized cost disclosures on commercial financing, including revenue-based funding. When a lender makes you a real offer, you'll receive the disclosure your state requires — including, where required, an estimated APR and the total cost of financing — before you sign anything. We ask for your business's state at application partly so we route you the right disclosures.
5. How we handle your information
We share your application only with parties working to fund your request: our lending partners, and — if we can't place your request ourselves — vetted, licensed broker partners who may be able to. We don't sell your information to data brokers or unrelated advertisers.
By submitting an application and checking the consent box, you agree that Fundangle and those funding and broker partners may contact you by email, phone, and text about your funding request. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out of texts any time by replying STOP, and out of everything by emailing hello@fundangle.com. We honor calling-time limits (8am–9pm your local time). Full detail is in our Privacy Policy.
6. Business-purpose financing only
Everything we broker is for business and commercial purposes only. These are not consumer loans and are not offered for personal, family, or household use.
